Melissa Castro Killen


Melissa has over 16 years’ experience in management and in the legal field. She has participated in and completed the City of San Antonio’s Small Business Bootcamp which enabled Network Alliance to graduate the Mentor Protégé Program. She continually strives to keep Network Alliance at the forefront of the IT field and is constantly looking for opportunities to better the company, the community and herself.

Melissa has served on numerous boards including: Bexar County Small, Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise Program Advisory Committee, the 27th Annual Enterprising Women’s Conference Development Team, the Texas Lyceum, the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority, the Balcones Heights Crime Control District and Balcones Heights City Council.

In addition, she has received recognition from various groups including the North Chamber’s Small Business Leadership Award, being named a Texas Lone Star by The Texas Government Insider, the West Chamber’s Doctoral Achievement Award, and was named to the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 List.

Melissa holds a B.A. from St. Mary’s University and a J.D. from the University of Akron.

Sebastian Test


For more than 17 years, Sebastian Test has been involved in the IT field. He served as a customer network support specialist, network engineer and senior consulting engineer for several communications and IT companies prior to co-founding Network Alliance. He is responsible for planning, designing and implementing complex technology solutions with a focus on Cisco Unified Communications, wireless and core routing and switching.

Sebastian holds numerous certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless), Cisco Certified Network Professional Wireless (CCNP Wireless), Cisco IronPort Certified Security Professional – Email Security (CICSP), Cisco Meraki Network Associate (CMNA), Xirrus Certified Sales Associate (XCSA) and Xirrus Certified Wireless Technician (XCWT).

Rod Tanner


Rod Tanner has more than 25 years of experience in various aspects of IT and communications, serving in project management, director of data communications and senior account executive positions. At Network Alliance, Rod is responsible for the company’s strategic decisions, including finding new areas for growth and improvement, business operations and key partnerships. He helps to develop business growth in markets related to health care, banking, education, manufacturing and government entities. Rod establishes customer needs that cover Data Center Solutions, Unified Communications, Wireless, LAN/WAN and Cabling Infrastructure solutions.

Rod is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an avionics communication specialist.
